The Center for International Programs (CIP) at St. Mary’s University originated from the recognition that St. Mary’s University is a destination for students from around the world, as well as for students interested in learning beyond their backyard.  The Center is home to three different service areas: the Study Abroad Office, International Student and Scholar Services, and our Intensive English Program.

In the Office of International Student and Scholar Services, international students will find a welcoming place where they can find support and answers to their questions about immigration rules, academic issues, and how to adjust to life away from their home country. If English is your second language, our Intensive English Program offers part-time and full-time course options to help you improve your English speaking, writing and listening skills.
