Only those staff members and coaches who have successfully completed the NCAA Division II Coaches Certification (Recruiting) Test are permitted to engage in off-campus recruiting activities. The Faculty Athletics Representative, in coordination with the Compliance Officer, will schedule the certification tests every year. The FAR is responsible for administering the tests. If a new coach has already successfully completed the certification test in a given year at a previous institution, the Compliance Officer will confirm the test results with the previous institution’s Compliance Officer and/or FAR. The Compliance Officer will verify with the FAR the names of those staff members and coaches who have successfully completed the certification tests each year.
