Before St. Mary’s

Before St. Mary’s Professor Summers served as Director of the first-year legal research and writing program at Loyola University School of Law, New Orleans, La. and worked as an adjunct faculty member at Tulane University.


  • As the former Law Library Director for 22 years, he oversaw the construction of the award-winning Sarita Kenedy East Law Library and the expansion of its staff, services, automation and collection.
