KERRVILLE, Texas – St. Mary’s is sitting pretty entering Tuesday’s final round of the Schreiner Women’s Fall Classic.

The Lady Rattlers’ women’s golf team took the lead in both the team and individual standings following Monday’s opening round, with Cami Furgeson leading teammate Julia Dickens as they attempt to team up to lead St. Mary’s to the win.

St. Mary’s holds a four-stroke advantage over Trinity after shooting a 324, while Furgeson (Sr., Newcastle, Calif.) carded a 77 to lead the field. Dickens (Sr., Fredericksburg, Texas) shot 78 to remain in square contention for the individual title.

Teammate Adela E. Rodriguez (Sr., Monterrey, Mexico) shot 84 to rank tied for 13th, while Bailey Furgeson (So., Newcastle, Calif.) – Cami’s younger sister – shot 85. Heather Wedige (Fr., San Antonio) turned in a first-round score of 95.

The final round will conclude Tuesday.
