INDIANAPOLIS — The following is a list of teams and individuals that have advanced to the 2003 NCAA Division II Women’s Golf Championships.

The 2003 NCAA Division II Women’s Golf Championships will be held May 14-17, at Mission Inn Golf and Tennis Resort in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla., and will be hosted by the Central Florida Sports Commission and the Sunshine State Conference.

The top two teams along with the top two individuals not with a team, from each regional, have advanced to the championships.

The championships will consist of both team and individual competition conducted concurrently. All participants will compete throughout the entire 72 holes of competition. In the team competition, the low four scores for each team will count in each day’s total score. The number of participants allowed at the finals is 48.

The following teams and individuals were selected to participate in the championships.

In last year’s championships, the Florida Southern College Lady Mocs set a new tournament record by winning their third straight national title by 74 strokes. The Lady Mocs crushed the competition with a record low score of 1,234 for the four-round tournament at The Meadows Golf Club at Grand Valley State University. Florida Southern took the win by taking the top three individual positions and tying for fourth place as well. Sophomore Jana Peterkova carded a final round of six-over-par 80 to win the individual title with a 14-over-par 306.
