AUSTIN, Texas – The St. Mary’s women’s golf team wasn’t able to make up any ground in Tuesday’s second and final round of the St. Edward’s Invitational, finishing 14th at the Grey Rock Golf Club.

Sisters Bailey Furgeson (Fr., Newcastle, Calif.) and Cami Furgeson (Jr., Newcastle, Calif.) finished with matching scores of 168, finishing in a tie for 38th place.

Senior Alejandra Cantu (Sr., Mission, Texas) shot 177 after shooting 88 in the final round, while Julia Dickens (Jr., Fredericksburg, Texas) matched Cantu’s score after climbing up the boards with an 82 on Tuesday. Adela E. Rodriguez (Jr., Monterrey, Mexico) finished at 180.

The Lady Rattlers shot 687 as a team after shooting 334 in the final round, shaving 19 strokes off their opening-round score.

Tarleton State won the tournament at 606, while Sonoma State’s Spencer Heller won the individual title with a score of 147.
