The St. Mary’s Lady Rattlers basketball team departed San Antonio early Thursday morning, heading to Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas, for their season-opening tournament this weekend.
St. Mary’s faces Midwestern State on Friday and will face Texas Woman’s University on Saturday.
The Lady Rattlers’ home schedule opens Tues., Nov. 22, against Tarleton State University. The women’s and men’s basketball teams will take part in a double-header against the Texans at Bill Greehey Arena.
