Each head coach is responsible for providing a complete roster prior to the first competition. The roster should be first given to the Associate Athletics Director for Internal Operations and Compliance for approval, and then provided to the Athletics Communications Director, and Sports Medicine and Sports Performance staffs. Any changes that occur during the season should be reported immediately to the individuals listed above. The Compliance Officer is responsible for disseminating status update information to other appropriate institutional staff members. Once the team roster is finalized, the removal of any student-athlete must be discussed with the Athletics Director and\/or Associate Athletics Director with sport oversight and immediately reported to the Compliance Officer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To add a new student-athlete to your team roster, the head coach must submit a completed Status Update form to the Compliance Officer. The new student-athlete is required to fill out all necessary paperwork and receive medical clearance from the Athletic Training staff prior to participation in his or her sport. Participation will not be permitted until the Compliance Officer confirms eligibility for practice and\/or competition.
