St. Mary’s University School of Law graduate Michael S. Goodrich (J.D.’85) was recently elected to membership in the American Law Institute. Widely considered the most prestigious law reform organization in the United States, ALI seeks individuals who ‘reflect the excellence and diversity of today’s legal profession.’ ALI membership is a distinct professional honor, with the number of members limited to 3000.

Goodrich is a partner at the firm of Goodrich Postnikoff Albertson & Petrocchi, LLP, in Fort Worth. He practices in the areas of real estate, business law, estate planning, commercial law and commercial litigation.

Other St. Mary’s graduates who are members of ALI are St. Mary’s Law School Dean Charles E. Cantú, Texas Supreme Court Justice Paul Green, Texas Court of Criminal Appeals Judge Barbara Hervey and Fulbright & Jaworski LLP Partner Robert Newman.
