Biography

Melissa Scully is a St. Mary’s alumna who joined the University as a Visiting Lecturer in 2000 and has since been teaching students to write more effectively in their academic, professional and personal lives. She also teaches literary analysis to her students, so they are able to engage in close readings of various literary texts as a cultural artifact and better able to understand the culture in which they live.

She is proud to teach at St. Mary’s because she believes it is a special institution with civil, intelligent and motivated students who are willing to serve the community.
