Biography

Dan Ratliff, Ph.D., has been a Fulbright Scholar to Romania, where he taught marriage and family therapy and program development as well as ethics courses at the University of Babes-Bolyia in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. He collaborates with the San Antonio Area Foundation to provide training for veteran-serving nonprofit organizations, leads a grant-funded program to provide counseling, marital therapy, and family therapy to deployed military service members and their families and consults with nonprofit and governmental social service agencies on program development and outcome assessment. Ratliff has published in scholarly and professional journals related to military families, legal standards for mental health practice, and supervision of mental health professionals. His personal interests including bicycling, swimming, international travel and visiting museums.
