Registered Student Organizations

As the RSO office provides training and resources to ensure the success of student organizations at St. Mary’s University, the Civic Engagement and Career Development Center also offers support to all members of Registered Student Organizations.

The Center has a professional staff member that serves as a liaison to all student organizations and their members. This individual attends the monthly Rattler Council meetings, specific organization meetings and offers one-on-one/group appointment times to meet with RSO members as requested.

In addition, the Center welcomes any student organization interest in co-sponsoring programs and events throughout the academic year. There are many ways to help out, such as:

  • Committing to a strong participation of membership at the event
  • Assisting with event marketing
  • Helping with the check-in/registration process
  • Contributing financially to the cost of a program
  • Offering other ideas/suggestions

The official RSO Liaison is Todd Chiscano. Todd serves as the Program and Event Coordinator for the Civic Engagement and Career Development Center. He coordinates the logistics of various programs sponsored by the Center, such as Continuing the Heritage, the Rattler Connect Job and Internship Fair, the Volunteer/Post-Graduate Service Fair, Etiquette Dinner, the Graduate and Professional School Fair, the Blood Drive, and other campus events.

The Center always seeks feedback on how we can enhance current programs from its attendees. We are also open to collaborating with you and members of your organization to further discuss any new ideas that you may have.
