St. Mary’s University Bill Greehey School of Business senior Rogelio Hernandez was awarded the RIMS (Risk Management Society) 2014 Anita Benedetti Student Involvement Program grant in March. The program recognizes the achievements of outstanding undergraduate and graduate risk management students.

The grant provides students with airfare, hotel expenses, registration fees and a meal stipend to attend RIMS 2014 Annual Conference & Exhibition, which provides educational and networking experience to students and professionals working in or interested in risk management.

“The Anita Benedetti Student Involvement Program continues to emphasize RIMS’ commitment to risk management and insurance students pursuing rewarding careers in this dynamic discipline,” RIMS Executive Director Mary Roth said. “At the conference, our scholars will be privy to an exceptional educational program designed specifically for them, as well as tremendous opportunities to network with industry leaders.  Congratulations to Rogelio Hernandez for his remarkable academic achievements and we look forward to hosting him this year at our conference.”
