William Razavi contributes to the Drama Department through his expertise in playwriting, classical drama, and the creative process in theatre. His mentoring in playwriting resulted in one of his student’s one-act play, Greyhound, being produced as part of the StMU Theatre season.
He also directed an innovative production of Waiting for Godot which was set in an abandoned shopping mall. Mr. Razavi is the Artistic Director of The Overtime Theatre, a local San Antonio theatre company which specializes in original, innovative, and accessible work.
His publications and e-books have included such plays as The Bronson Pinchot Civil War Cupcake Experience, The Professionals, Julie, The Complete Fragments of Menander (Some Assembly Required) and Sullivan’s Detours.
