Meredith Kiesgen-Schilling, D.M.A., teaches voice and Opera Workshop at St. Mary’s University and holds a Doctor of Music degree in voice and music literature from Indiana University’s Jacob School of Music. She received her Master of Music from Northern Arizona University and a Bachelor of Music from Oklahoma City University.
Whether singing in opera, musical theater or cabaret, she is at home on the stage. She has performed with IU Opera Theatre, Chamber Opera Chicago, The Pollard Theater, Theatrikos Playhouse, Arizona Light Opera Company, Grand Canyon Shakespeare Festival, Arizona Spectrum Series Productions, The Rome Festival, Bloomington Playwrights Project, Valkyrie Productions, Sony Pictures, Showtime Television and MTV.
Kiesgen-Schilling brings 20 years of experience to her teaching. She has served on the faculty of Northern Arizona University’s Preparatory School, the prestigious Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, Los Angeles City College and Indiana University’s Center for Life-Long Learning.
