Jon Gordon is a semi-retired investment professional with more than 30 years of experience in brokerage accounting, compliance, operations and technology. He has worked for USAA, JP Morgan, Bear Stearns Securities Corporation, Instinet Clearing Services, Citicorp, Drexel Burnham Lambert, and the E. F. Hutton Group.
In retirement, Gordon is an expert witness in securities related arbitrations.
His professional registrations with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority included the Registered Operations Principal (Series 4), General Securities Representative (Series 7), New York Stock Exchange Compliance Officer (Series 14), General Securities Principal (Series 34), Financial and Operations Principal (Series 27), Municipal Securities Principal (Series 53), Uniform Securities Agent State Law (Series 63), Uniform Investment Adviser Law (Series 65), and Operations Principal (Series 99). He also holds the Texas General Lines – Life, Accident, and Health Insurance license.
After graduating from college, Gordon was commissioned as an ensign in the United States Navy. He served as an engineering and communications officer on a nuclear-powered ballistic missile launching submarine.
