Led by Sam Sedki, Accounting
Since 2011, Accounting Professor Sam Sedki has led an eight-day cultural and business journey to the United Arab Emirates. Students and faculty tour and attend lectures at multinational corporations such as Unilever, the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, and the television station Al Arabia. Students explore what it means to conduct business in the UAE and how development occurs in the region.
The highlights of the program also include a visit to Nakheel, one of the world’s largest construction and real estate development companies, famous for building Dubai’s Palm Islands. Sightseeing opportunities complement the education program, which includes tours of the famous 2,717-foot Burj Khalifa skyscraper and the Burj Al Arab Hotel in Abu Dhabi. All study abroad programs
