Moving to San Antonio from Fort Collins, Colorado, was a shock, but I knew in my soul that I was about to spend the next four years of my life at a University that was right for me academically, spiritually and athletically. If I had attended another University, I would not have discovered that my happiness relies on my service to others.
St. Mary’s University allowed me to fulfill my lifelong dream of becoming a collegiate athlete. Looking back, it was an unforgettable experience that taught me more about what I want out of my life beyond the game of soccer. I know now more than ever that if I had attended another university, I would not have gotten the most out of my college experience like I was able to here.
