All evening classes for Monday, Nov. 22, have been cancelled. St. Mary’s University closed at 3 p.m. Students are urged to monitor the school’s emergency weather number at 210-436-3011.
Thunderstorms capable of producing very heavy rain, isolated severe weather and widespread flooding remained a threat throughout Monday afternoon. Travel into the flash flood warned counties was not recommended as many roads were flooded and dangerous, especially from San Antonio eastward between Interstate 10 and I-35 toward Houston.
