Add another Exchange account to Outlook®

The follow directions are intended to help faculty or staff add additional STMU Exchange account (for which you are authorized to access) to your existing Outlook configuration on a domain configured desktop here on the campus. An example would be a shared department account that more than one person is responsible for maintaining or perhaps a managers account that is also maintained by an administrative assistant.

  1. Open Microsoft Outlook
  2. On the toolbar click on "Tools"
  3. Select "e-mail accounts"
  4. Check "View or change existing email account settings" then click "Next"
  5. On the right side of the screen select "Change"
  6. Click on "More Settings" and select the "Advanced" tab
  7. Click "Add" to search or type the e-mail account you need to view/add
  8. Once all screens are closed the mailbox will appear in the folders view, usually underneath your mailbox.
