Mission

The purpose of the Student Government Association is to serve as the official voice of the student body, and the SGA acts as a mediator between the students, administration, and faculty. SGA also meets the wide range of students' needs by forming specialized committees that address their concerns.

Goals

The Executive Board of the Student Government Association has spent countless hours creating a list of goals for this year. The goals include the following:

• Increase Campus Security
• Extend Recycling Program to Residence Halls
• Extend Recycling Program to University Departments
• Increase Student Government Visibility and Involvement
• Work With Other Universities in San Antonio
• Go Green Month
• Increase School Spirit (tailgates and spirit events)
• Get More Student Input
• Have Fun!
