What does this office provide?
The Department of Student Activities and Transition Programs (SATP) is the umbrella office for student involvement at St. Mary's University. From Zaragoza (orientation) to Senior Week, we cover student programming, activities, and ND0101 classes designed with students in mind. Our offices include:

Diversity Programs

SATP works collaboratively with other departments to ensure that we celebrate the rich diversity of our campus community by providing programs for: Hispanic Heritage Month, Black History Month, Women s History Month, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Week, and International Education Week.

Greek Life at St. Mary s is comprised of 13 Greek-lettered social organizations boasting a mixture of local, Panhellenic, Multi-cultural and North American Interfraternity chapters.

ND 0101

Consistent with the mission of St. Mary's University, ND 0101: Personal and Academic Development is a course for first-year students designed to provide foundation that will assist them in deriving maximum benefit from their undergraduate experience by facilitating the transition from high school or another institution to college.

Students will experience four areas of development:

  1. Education about the Marianist Charism;
  2. Academic Development;
  3. Service and Resource Development;
  4. Personal Development

Rattler Weekends

Rattler Weekends provides programs and events for students to participate in during the weekend. You get the opportunity to meet fellow students, participate in on-campus programs, explore San Antonio and the surrounding area, and attend city wide events at a reduced cost.
