Earth Science Museum

A collection of more then 1,300 minerals, rocks, fossils, maps and scientific instruments, the Earth Science Museum is used for undergraduate research both at St. Mary's and other San Antonio schools.

The museum is free and open to the public on weekdays throughout the year. It is located in the second floor hallway of Garni Science Hall.

Museum Update (March 30, 2012): Thank you for your interest in our museum. Because of upcoming renovations to Garni Hall, the Earth Science Museum has been placed in storage for the summer. Garni Hall will be closed for the summer beginning in May 2012, and will open again until August 2012. Once the renovations are complete, we will begin to re-establish the museum, with new and updated displays. We believe the museum will open again to the public during the Fall 2012 semester. Check back periodically for updates.
