Cable Equipment
Basic Cable service and several premium channels are provided for all rooms. Our hall staff can provide a limited number of adaptors for those residents who don't have cable-ready televisions.
Emergency Repairs
Please contact a staff member directly to report an emergency repair (i.e. overflowing toilet, etc.). You may do this by calling the Residence Life office (x3714) during office hours (do not leave a voice mail message) or by contacting University Police at any time.
Housekeeping
Housekeeping services are provided for common areas including corridors, lounges and public or community bathrooms in all buildings. However, everyone shares the responsibility for keeping all the facilities clean. It is the residents' responsibility to clean their private rooms and bathrooms and to pick up after themselves in common areas.
Internet Access
All rooms are equipped with two (2) internet cable connections that connect to the local area network and the world wide web for high-speed access.
Laundry
Laundry facilities for resident use are available in each residence hall.  The cost of laundry facilities in the residence halls is included in your room rate.
Mail is delivered Monday through Friday to each residence hall usually before 5 p.m. Mail is not delivered on Saturday, Sunday or holidays. Additionally, mail is not delivered during break periods. Mail delivered in the residence halls is not insured and the University is not liable for its misrouting, disappearance or theft.

Please inform your correspondents when you change rooms. Misaddressed mail will result in delayed delivery or no delivery.
Large packages delivered by the U.S. Postal Service can be picked up at the Mail Room in the Treadaway Hall complex. You will receive a notice in your mailbox when you have a package. The Mail Room is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m.. You must have your ID to pick up a package. All other packages delivered to campus (i.e. UPS) are delivered to Central Receiving. You will be notified when they receive a package for you.
As you move off campus you must fill out a forwarding address form online. Your First Class mail will be forwarded for 6 months. Other mail such as newspapers and magazines will not be forwarded. Do not notify the city Post Office when you change your address.
Meeting Rooms
Meeting rooms in the residence halls may be reserved for activities that are open to the residents of the building. Please refer to room reservation guidelines or your hall director.
Recreation
All halls are equipped with recreational items, such as televisions, billiards, table tennis, and sporting goods. Contact the hall staff for use.
Repairs
Faulty equipment and/or damages should be reported to your Resident Assistant, or hall office as quickly as possible. All needs for repair are reported to the Physical Plant daily (Monday-Friday) and are usually completed within 3 to 4 working days of the report. If the repair is not completed within 3 to 4 working days, re-contact your RA. He/She may ask you to fill out another work order noting that this is a second request. General repairs and preventive maintenance are done without charge to the resident. However, community members are held financially responsible for malicious damage and vandalism. You are also encouraged to submit work orders for repairs needed in common areas of the hall.

Room Reservation Guidelines: Reservation Policies
- The organization and/or individual that made the reservation (event coordinator) is responsible for leaving the room in the same condition as when the event began. MISUSE OR ABUSE OF ROOMS MAY RESULT IN LOSS OF USE OF FUTURE MEETING SPACE IN THE RESIDENCE HALLS AND/OR CHARGES FOR CLEANING AND RESETTING OF THE ROOM. The event coordinator should be present at the entire time of the event.
- Rooms are reserved on a first-come, first served basis.
- Before reserving space and/or issuing invitations for events, the event must be approved. This must be done at least 24 hours prior to the event. Those events where alcohol will be served must be approved at least (5) working days prior to the event. Please refer to the Alcohol Policy in this handbook when sponsoring an event involving the use and/or sale of alcohol.
- Inappropriate behavior at the event or by the attendees could result in the cancellation of the event.
- Park in designated areas only. Violations may result in loss of future room reservations.
Adele lounges, Anthony Frederick lounge, Chaminade lounges, Cremer lounge, Dougherty lounges, Flores lounge, Founders 1st floor conference room, Founders courtyard, FNDOLO Outdoor space, John Donohoo lounge, Lourdes lounge, Leies lounge, and the basketball & volleyball courts near Lourdes.
Vacuum Cleaners
Vacuum cleaners can be checked out in each area either from the front desk or the RA on duty. Please check with the area staff for details.
