New and Transfer Undergraduates

In order to apply for housing at St. Mary's you must be accepted to the University. After being accepted to St. Mary's University, the Admissions Office will notify you once Online Enrollment has been opened. Applying for housing is part of the Online Enrollment process. If you have questions about the Online Enrollment process, please contact the Office of Admissions. ((210) 436-3126)

Assignments are made on a "first-come, first served" basis, using the date both your application and deposit are received via the Online Enrollment process.

Each resident is required to have health insurance while living on campus. The University automatically charges every resident for the minimum recommended health insurance policy, unless the individual student waives the school health insurance as instructed. Deadlines for waiving the insurance are very strict. Once the University has paid for your insurance you CANNOT receive a refund. Please check your housing materials closely for further instructions and current deadlines.

All undergraduate residents are required to purchase a meal plan while living on campus. The meal plan amount purchased is credited to the student's account and is accessible for purchases at the Diamondback Cafe, Subway sandwich shop, and Java City via the St. Mary's Rattler Card.

Residence Hall Rates and Meal Plan Costs are available.
