Readmission Information

Undergraduate Readmission

• Former St. Mary's University students who were not enrolled in the previous Fall or Spring semester, and students who graduated the previous semester, must file a formal application for readmission by the deadlines shown below.
• Before a decision on readmission can be determined, students who have attended other colleges must provide official transcripts from each school attended whether the work was satisfactory, unsatisfactory, or whether the student withdrew while work was in progress. Policies governing transfer students will apply.
• A student who leaves on Scholastic Probation (or Suspension and stayed away one semester) will be readmitted on probation even if he/she has attended another institution during his/her absence.
• A returning student, on probation at another school, will be readmitted on probation.
• A student on probation at another school will be placed on probation here.
• Applications for students who left on Suspension will be referred to the Dean for consideration of readmission. A short essay explaining your experience since you left St. Mary’s University is required. Discuss your preparedness to return to St. Mary’s and address this essay to the Dean of your school.
• Readmission Fee - there is no readmission fee at this time
• Course schedules are available on the web at www.stmarytx.edu/registrar/. Spring course schedules are normally available in late October. Summer and Fall schedules are normally available in late March.
• Students who wish to enter the Law School or Graduate School must apply to that school directly.
