The faculty at St. Mary’s University prides itself on its commitment to our students, the quality of teaching and commitment to the mission of St. Mary’s University.

With more than 4,000 students, we provide a student-faculty ratio of 12 to 1, ensuring personal attention designed to help students excel in their chosen fields. Each of our 183 full-time faculty members, 92 percent of whom hold doctoral or terminal degrees in their field, are dedicated to ensuring the success of our students both in and out of the classroom.

Our faculty is comprised of a wide range of scholars dedicated to their field of study. They are committed to excellence as evidenced by their continued efforts in research, publications, fellowships and awards. Through their efforts in teaching, scholarly activity, and in keeping with the Marianist tradition that founded this university, our nurturing environment prepares students for a bright and successful future.
