The Corporation for National and Community Service announced that St. Mary´s University has been named to the 2009 President´s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll, the highest federal recognition a college or university can receive for its commitment to volunteering, service-learning and civic engagement. St. Mary´s Neighborhood Revitalization Project, along with the City of San Antonio Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC), will hold it´s first ever Small Business Summit for the businesses within St. Mary´s revitalization district. Small business owners have been invited to the free summit on Wednesday, Feb. 10 to learn how to access resources for improving their facilities and business operations. St. Mary´s University announces the second generation of a special financial assistance program which will cover tuition for qualified freshmen in fall 2010. Access 2010 at St. Mary´s University will enable members of the incoming fall class of 2010, who have excelled in high school and also have high financial need, to have their tuition paid for at St. Mary´s University!
