Welcome

The purpose of the MBA is to develop competent individuals for responsible leadership positions in any organization or enterprise. The program has six required courses including an MBA capstone course and provides flexibility that enables students to select from a broad range of electives in the General Management track. Tracks also are available in Professional Accountancy and Financial Planning.

In 2007, our program was ranked by Princeton Review as #1 in Texas and the Southwest and #5 in the U.S. among MBA programs that offer the greatest Opportunity for Women. This ranking is based on the percent of students and faculty who are female and student assessments of resources for female students, the supportiveness of  the culture for females, the availability of coursework for female entrepreneurs and the use of case study materials that proportionately reflect women in business.

The MBA program has been designed to enable students who have satisfied all prerequisite knowledge requirements an opportunity to complete their MBA in one year. For more information, see the One-year MBA page
