The Office of Student Activities & Transition Programs coordinates a variety of leadership programs and initiatives for the St. Mary’s university Community. We feel it is important for students to gain leadership skills to enhance both their personal and professional life.

Emerging Leaders: The Emerging Leaders is designed for students who want to knowledgeable and strengthen their personal leadership skills.

LeaderShape Institute: The LeaderShape Institute is an interactive, energizing, and unique experience that builds leadership skills no other program can match. And since 1986, over 31,000 participants from all over the world have graduated from our program.

The purpose of the The LeaderShape Institute is to produce a breakthrough in the leadership capacity of participants and facilitators , which is demonstrated on their campus, in their community, and within their organization.

Student Awards & Recognition: Each year St. Mary's University celebrates the academic and co-curricular accomplishments of its students through several recognition and award programs. These programs include Distinguished Leaders Night, Greek Awards, Recognized Student Organization Academic Awards, Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges and the prestigious Presidential Award.
