Student Activities & Transition Programs

The Office of Student Activities & Transition Programs coordinates a variety of leadership programs and initiatives for the St. Mary's university Community. We feel it is important for students to gain leadership skills to enhance both their personal and professional life. We currently have 3 leadership programs on campus: Emerging Leaders, LRC, and LeaderShape.

2013 Emerging Leaders-part 2

The Emerging Leaders Program strives to strengthen student's leadership skills by promoting ethical leadership based on Marianist values. Each Emerging Leader strive to represent the college in a manner that exemplifies campus pride, display a strong base of knowledge about the campus, and leave a positive and lasting impression of St.Marys University. The program is held every Monday, 3:00pm - 4:30pm, and will begin on Monday, February 11th. Click here to start.

2013 Leadership Reaction Course (LRC)

This year's LRC in partnership with ROTC is properly titled " Mission: Possible". Students will have to use strategic methods to get their group from one place to the other in this fun exciting low ropes course provided by the commanders in Camp Bullis.

2012 LeaderShape Institute

The LeaderShape Institute is an interactive, energizing, and unique experience that builds leadership skills no other program can match. And since 1986, over 31,000 participants from all over the world have graduated from our program.

The purpose of the The LeaderShape Institute is to produce a breakthrough in the leadership capacity of participants and facilitators , which is demonstrated on their campus, in their community, and within their organization. This winter retreat will take place in Newcomb Tennis Ranch from December 16- December 21, 2012.
