Collanne served as a briefing attorney for The Hon. Marialyn Barnard, Texas Fourth Court of Appeals. She also interned for the Hon. Edward C. Prado, United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. As a student at St. Mary's School of Law, she was selected to the St. Mary's Law Journal editorial board as symposium editor and was inducted into the legal fraternity Phi Delta Phi.
