Diaz Named to Language Association

Director of the Graduate English Literature and Language program Gwendolyn Diaz, Ph.D., has been named to serve a three-year term for the South Central Modern Language Association. SCMLA is one of six U.S. regional organizations of the Modern Language Association. MLA has more than 30,000 members in 100 countries. MLA provides opportunities for its members to share their scholarly findings and teaching experiences with colleagues and to discuss trends in the academy.

Dr. Diaz“s term begins 2010. The first year she will serve as Vice President, the second year as President, and the third year as past-President.
