The School of Humanities and Social Sciences affirms as its primary mission the implementation of the fundamental commitment of St. Mary's University to giving Christian purpose and dynamism to the community's search for the integration of faith and reason, to its faculty's dedication to a life of scholarship, and to the extension of service to the University and to society.
