How to See the Doctor

Office visits with the doctor can be made by appointment by calling (210)436-3506. Same Day appointments can be made by calling the clinic or on a walk-in basis. Students are encouraged to call during morning hours if they wish to be seen on the same day.

Note:
During peak clinic periods, waiting times may be significantly increased. Not all students will be able to be seen on the same day that they walk- in or request an appointment. If you have insurance with the St.Mary's Student Health Plan, you will be billed $10.00 per MD office visit (copayment) which will not go against your deductible or outpatient benefit. If you have any questions, please contact the Student Health Center or Academic Health Plan.

The Student Health Center is not a participant of any HMO, PPO or private insurance plan. Therefore, we are unable to generate an insurance claim form to file with your private insurance. There is no guarantee that charges incurred at the Student Health Center will be reimbursed to you by your insurance carrier.
