Be part of a tight-knit community that leads by example.

Fraternity and Sorority Life (FSL) at St. Mary’s University strives to empower members of Greek-letter organizations to excel, promote, and preserve the four principles of brotherhood/sisterhood, leadership, scholarship and service.

Together, fraternities and sororities offer an environment that supports and encourages living out the ideals contained in each chapter creed, holding no tolerance for behavior unbecoming of the highest standards of the mission of the University. Fraternity and sorority leaders are students of character who set examples of leadership for the entire campus.

St. Mary’s University is home to 10 sororities and fraternities. Most of these organizations have a long-established history and can be found on college campuses throughout the United States and internationally. They are governed not only by their national headquarters but also belong to councils who provide guidance and policies to all members.
