Admission

Admission Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution--Two official transcripts sent to the Dean of the Graduate School.
  • Final grades of "C" or better in all undergraduate prerequisite psychology courses or their equivalent [12 hours].
  • Official GRE scores. A combined GRE score of 294 or more. No less than 146 on verbal section or 140 on quantitative section.
  • A average cumulative and psychology undergraduate GPA of 3.0 OR a cumulative and psychology GPA of 3.2 for the last 60 hours of undergraduate courses.
  • Personal statement of relevant experience as well as interest in I/O psychology and the program at St. Mary's University.
  • Two letters of recommendation from individuals well acquainted with your academic/professional ability.
  • Resume or curriculum vita.

Deadline June 1

Students are admitted to start the program each fall. There are no admissions to begin the program in the Spring or Summer.

You can fill out the application form online by going to the Graduate School homepage and clicking the tab "Apply Online." No application fee is required.
