Undergraduate majors with a minimum of 21 hours in political science, a 2.7 GPA overall, and a 3.0 GPA in political science may begin graduate coursework during the senior year. The program leading to a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts degree in Political Science with a specialization in Political and Community Leadership is designed to provide an opportunity to begin graduate studies while completing the undergraduate degree. Interested students should apply with the graduate school. To continue in the program, a student must maintain at least a 3.0 GPA in all graduate level courses.
