Certificate Programs

In each of the three areas the Department offers a certificate to students who wish to refresh, deepen and update their theological views and their ministerial competencies.

A Certificate of Graduate Theological Studies may be earned by a student holding a B.A. or equivalent. This program requires 12 hours of course work at St. Mary's University, approval by the graduate program director, and the writing of a project or research paper under the direction of a professor.

A Certificate of Postgraduate Theological Studies may be earned by a student holding the M.A. in Theology or equivalent. This program requires 12 hours of course work at St. Mary's University, approval by the graduate program director, and the writing of a project or research paper under the direction of a professor.
