Study Tour

Larry Hufford, Ph.D.
Larry Hufford, Ph.D.

Each summer since 1992, the Graduate International Relations Program has sponsored and led an intense study seminar to a country in conflict, transitioning out of conflict, or a country that is very poor. In the past, study tours have gone to Nicaragua, Guatemala, Haiti, El Salvador, Cuba, Bolivia, India, Bangladesh and Chiapas, Mexico. Students are encouraged to participate in summer study abroad opportunities. Students may earn graduate credit (3 or 6 semester hours) for approved/supervised study abroad.

The 2010 Summer Study Tour has not yet been announced. Information will be available under "Current Tour" at a later date.
