Blackboard

For our online courses, St. Mary's uses an e-education platform, Blackboard Learning System (Blackboard). For more information on Blackboard, visit the Academic Technology Services' Web site. For questions concerning access problems, contact Juan Valadez of Information Technology Services at (210) 431-5074.

St. Mary's E-mail

You will need a St. Mary's email address. There is no charge for this. Graduate Admissions will request your initial email account and mail your username and password to the address listed on your application once you are accepted and registered for courses.For assistance withquestions or problems with your email account, contact the Help Desk at (210) 431-4357 or go to the IT website.

Bookstore Information

Textbooks may be ordered online from the St. Mary's University Bookstore at www.rattlerbooks.com. Course information you will need is: department, course number, course section, and instructor name. Major credit cards are accepted.

For questions or information, call the Bookstore at (210) 436-3406, Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. You can also e-mail textbook ordering questions to Kimberlee Ferris, the Textbook Manager, at kferris@stmarytx.edu.

Distance Learning Library Services

The St. Mary's University Blume Library subscribes to over 70 online databases that include full-text articles, reports, statistics, and other materials. As well, the Library owns 60,000 full-text electronic books purchased from e-book vendor NetLibrary. NetLibrary's database includes many scholarly books that are good research sources.
