St. Mary’s University is proud to be a test site for the National Board for Certified Counselors because our Community Counseling, Mental Health Counseling and Counseling Education and Supervision programs are CACREP accredited. We offer the exam twice a year in October and April.

Attention: The deadline for the next administration of the NCC is published on the departmental calendar of events. The deadline for each administration for the exam comes around 5 months prior to the test date. Please check our calendar of events each semester as WE WILL NOT ACCEPT APPLICATIONS AFTER THE DUE DATE.

It is important to fill out the appropriate application and course requirement audit. Please note that there are different applications related to whether or not you are graduating from a CACREP counseling program. Filling out the wrong form can delay your taking the NCE.
