The Master of Arts in Communication Studies program at St. Mary's University offers a curriculum that recognizes the interdisciplinary nature of communication--especially the interrelatedness of writing and speaking--and provides students with challenges to sharpen their analytical, critical, and creative skills for the purpose of intellectual, relational, and professional development.

The program allows students to select classes that relate to their interest and personal and professional goals. Potential areas of study include media, communication theory, public relations, and organization.

Students work with the graduate director to design a program that fits their needs.
