Welcome to the New Gateway

The Gateway to Historic St. Mary’s University permanently and dramatically changes the main entrance and perimeter of the campus. The project provides aesthetic, safety and physical improvements for the entrance and campus perimeter in addition to pedestrian walkways and architectural landscape.

A new plaza has been created in front of St. Louis Hall. Driveways also include trellised metal archways between stone columns, and a Memorial Plaza between St. Louis Hall and Chaminade Tower pays tribute to alumni who have died in service to our country.
