You will notice that you, the parent, will not receive an estimated bill for the spring semester like you did in the fall semester when your son or daughter enrolled for classes. Your student will be provided a copy of their schedule/billing at the time of registration. Students may also view their statement by using Gateway or request a statement using our e-mail address: businessoffice@stmarytx.edu. While classes are in session, all correspondence is mailed to the students’ local address. Students need to take an active role in understanding their financial responsibility and to stay informed at all times of their current status and future registrations. We want you to assist them as needed, but it’s important to let them learn how to deal with financial responsibilities and meeting deadlines. The spring semester payment deadline and/or to set up a payment plan is Jan. 15, 2007. Meeting the deadlines helps reduce the burden of making financial decisions while they are starting a new academic session. For payment plan options, please review the Payment Confirmation Form, or extended payment plans can be located by contacting Tuition Management Systems at www.afford.com/stmarytx. A late payment fee of $150 is assessed each semester to students that miss the payment deadlines. Help your student avoid financial and administrative penalties by helping them remember these important payment deadline dates. For future planning our payment deadline for each of the two summer sessions is the first day of classes. |
