Coming Soon! Environmental Compliance Orientation Training will soon be available in a five-module presentation series through Blackboard. The modules include information about the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR); the key Federal and State regulatory agencies with authority for enforcement; the standards and regulations applicable to St. Mary's University; and the programs implemented by the University to ensure compliance.
University Safety Orientation is offered each fall. The training is presented by Human Resources, Campus Police, Physical Plant and EHS to provide a safety overview of the University campus. All faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to attend.
All staff or student leaders that are involved in temporary volunteer work are encouraged to attend the Training and Orientation of Staff and Student Volunteer Leaders. This training is offered twice per year.
For departments with higher risk processes or materials, more indepth training modules are offered to ensure a safe workplace and compliance to regulatory requirements. Contact Syliva Aranda or Shirley Zertuche in the Physical Plant Front Office to view any of these environmental or safety videos.
