- How has St. Mary's influenced your life?
St. Mary's has been great for me because I got tons of personal attention from my teachers. The Honors Program was also great because it opened my mind to things I might not have been exposed to otherwise, like different literature and philosophies. The generous scholarship from St. Mary's will benefit me for years to come because I will graduate without any debt. So I will have the opportunity to lots of stuff, like try to make it professionally as an actress in Los Angeles or travel or whatever, which I would not have been able to do if I were saddled with debt.
- What was your most memorable experience at St. Mary's?
Building and designing stuff in the Prototype and Development Engineering Lab, like out of aluminum or Plexiglas or whatever. Also, making Pablo Neruda related art for Dr. Diaz's class.
- Who was your favorite professor?
Dr. Razaie is my favorite prof, and Dave Hatch is my favorite mentor/work-study boss. I also really like Dr. Aminian, Dr. Diaz, Dr. Calentine, Dr. Rigney, Dr. Curet, and Dr. Cardenas...that's a lot, I know, but I like them all!
- How about your family?
I have a mom, Elizabeth, and a dad, James, and two little brothers, Luke and Matt, who are 13 and 11. My dad, my aunt, and my grandpa all attended St. Mary’s at one time or another... I think my grandpa went when it was still downtown, and my mom used to work in the health center and teach yoga classes here a few years back.
