The State Open Government Law and Practice in a Post-9/11 World: Legal and Policy Analysis was a two-day legal and policy conference consisting of seven different panel presentations by leading subject matter experts. These nationally renowned experts presented a variety of perspectives concerning specific categories of interest, e.g., cyber security, based on their professional views regarding various State open government law and practice since September 11, 2001. The blueprint for the conference discussion is a compilation of applicable State laws, entitled: State Open Government Law and Practice in a Post-911 World (2007), which will be available to participants and attendees.
The conference was hosted by St. Mary’s University School of Law, Center for Terrorism Law, and supported by a 2006 “Congressionally-Directed Homeland Defense and Civil Support Threat Information Collection” grant administered by the Air Force Research Laboratory under agreement FA8750-06-1-0243.
