Teacher Education Testing

Students in the St. Mary's Teacher Education program must take the Texas Higher Education Assessment (THEA) as part of their state certification.  In conjunction with the Teacher Education Department, the THEA Quick Test is administered several times in the Fall and Spring semesters. Students register for a specific test date through the Teacher Education Department. The current THEA test fee is $29.00 (subject to change). The exam lasts approximately 5.5 hours. The THEA is administered only to Teacher Education students at St. Mary's.
