Registration
This
Spring 2008 semester is the launch of the new web registration to enroll for
courses via Gateway.
Priority Advising & Registration
for Summer & Fall 2008 begins
Tuesday,
March 25 and ends Monday, April 14.
Please read information
below for information on new changes to registration.
Currently enrolled undergraduate students: Your classification determines the
day in which your registration period begins. Your classification is determined
by the total number of hours earned as of right now, not what you will have
earned at the end of the Spring 2008 semester. The priority advising and
priority registration dates for each group of students is indicated below.
Registration for Graduate and PhD students is an ongoing process. These students are asked to contact their program director for additional registration and advising information.
Law students should contact the Law Admissions Office for information on registration at 210-436-3523.

- On the first day of your classification period, registration will begin at 8 a.m.
- During your Priority Registration 3-day period, registration will be available 24/7 except during the weekends.

- Graduate/PhD students will not require a registration pin number to register.
Undergraduate students: With the implementation of web registration, there are changes to the Priority Advising and Priority Registration schedule. Please note the following:
- Each classification has been assigned three days of Priority Advising followed by three days of Priority Registration.
- Students are required to meet with their adviser in
order to register for courses. Upon meeting with students, advisers
will give advisees a registration pin number that will allow access to
registration.
In order to prepare for
advising and registration, please do the following:
- Contact your
academic adviser to make an appointment for advising.

Print a copy of
your Degree Plan Guide (DPG) from ATROX. The DPG lists all your
graduation requirements and informs you of the requirements you have completed
and those that are incomplete. Use the DPG to help you determine which
courses you should take next semester. (Undergraduate students)
- Log onto Gateway to access Self-Service
for the following:
- Summer & Fall 2008 course
schedule (located in the Registration folder)
- “How-To-Register” document
(located in the Registration folder)

Create a
tentative schedule. Use the form attached to ensure you
collect all the information you need.

Take your
tentative schedule and a copy of your Degree Plan Guide to your advising
appointment or group advising session.
Remember to request your pin number.

Register for
courses via Gateway during
your three-day Priority Registration period.
While your register, please keep your Degree Plan Guide handy to ensure
you are not repeating a course you do not need.
If you do not register
during your three day priority registration period, the next opportunity to
register will be during Open Registration…April 15-May 9.
